Greetings, y'all! 👋😄
As the end of 2025 has come and gone, I can only say, "Thank God!", both sarcastically and sincerely.
2025 was a wild rollercoaster ride (on an old, rickety wooden coaster that should've been condemned years ago)! Daniel's near death & hospitalization in February, losing my job at the end of July, Daniel's heart surgery in August, being diagnosed with COPD and secondary polycythemia, and scattered in between those major events so. many. doctor. appointments. 😑
Of course, there were good things that happened in 2025. Daniel survived severe malnutrition/diabetic ketoacidosis/sepsis, his heart surgery went smoothly and he fully recovered from it, I was able to get a couple new work-from-home jobs (and I got a raise at my church job), and I finally made the decision to take care of my own health instead of putting it on the back burner. Overall, while there are issues, none of them are really major. 🙌🏻
We were incredibly blessed, even though 2025 was an incredibly stressful year. God brought us through some mighty fierce storms, and we experienced His peace that truly does pass all understanding. 🙌🏻
I'm praying that 2026 is kind to all of us. ✌❤🙏🏻🙌🏻
